Ban Muang Saurus Playground
This playground, designed and constructed by a team of INDA (International Program of Design and Architecture) students, was shaped by strict limitations on budget, time, and resources, as well as unpredictable weather. With creativity at the forefront, we adapted the playground to local needs. After site visits and community research, we drew inspiration from Khon Kaen’s unique paleontological history, using dinosaur-themed shapes and stories. This design not only celebrates local heritage, fostering community pride, but also supports children’s physical development through engaging forms that encourage active play.
